cknott...... I have done the research, and I have seen posts critical of NSM people. I have seen posts critical of ALOT of people. You can't get through 5 productive posts on this board without running into someone who has/had/still does have issues with someone else!

What I have NOT seen, until recently, is the LEVEL and CONCENTRATION of postings defaming the NSM and its members. At a time we should ALL be congratulating the NSM(and many here have) on their effort in Toledo, we get "The Bio of Col. Bill Hoff"??? "Bill White Locked Up In A Mental Institution"!! Are you fucking kidding me???? Shit doesn't get this deep at the magazine rack in the supermarket check-out line!!!

I think the most interesting thing I read on Overthrow today was this article in which Anarchy Bill talks about his days as a whigger... an anarchist... a SM punk Goth... need I go on? ! We don't even need to reach the question of whether he was treated for mental illness or not, what we have here is a person who admits some serious personality disturbances in his short life so far, enough to make him untrustworthy in the eyes of careful people. Bill's drawing much attention to himself as usual these days and he always will. People who crave attention... that's much of what we're dealing with in certain corners of "the movement." I think Bill's recognized that himself previously as well.

I think that there has been quite a bit of discussion of personalities at this forum recently and some of it has definitely veered into flaming. I dont like to talk personalities, but people want to do it and better here than at the foot of the Jew. That being said, people should try and keep their discussions of public biographies and personalities somewhat more restrained. It's un-Aryan to fly about wildly denouncing people left and right, calling everyone a Jew, etc. Try and remember the ancient Greek wisdom, "pan metron ariston," in all things moderation.

The VNN archives are full of them. Try the thread on "Why would anyone join the NSM?" Also Hal Turner message forum was hopping with anti NSM stories before the Toledo rally. They wrote all about how the other white nationalist organizations were boycotting the NSM in Toledo.

I don't know Bill White from Adam, just know what I have read on the 'net, pro and con.

Personally I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I have done some pretty screwed up things in my life as well. Things I look back on and wondered what the hell was I thinking, or not thinking. I'm sure most people here have similar experiences if they have any capacity for introspection whatsoever.

That's life really. I'm about 10 years older than BW and over the years, having been in supervisory positions, taught college labs, and having run my own business, I can tell you that EVERYONE has "issues." Or so it seems. What do you do? You can't fire everyone. You can't run them off or give everyone a litmus test to see if you and they are personally compatible before you work together. You have to learn to deal with people as they are. Work around their personal foibles and weaknesses...and hope they will show you the same forebearance.

If what Bill White says about his life is true, then I have to say he is quite impressive. He has pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become very sucessful. He is obviously a go getter, the kind that WN needs more of.

From what I have read, I think I understand his personality type somewhat. I have a close friend who is the same way. Smart as hell, well read, abrasive and arrogant. People with with poor self esteem don't last very long around him because he certainly doesn't have any patience with fools. It doesn't surprise me that someone like that would move through the bumbling WN movement like a bull in a china shop. Hell, I'm a lot more forgiving person and sometimes I lose my patience with some of the knotheads in this movement.

There are two things people like that respect. One, Competence. Show them that you have something on the ball and can contribute something of worth to the world and you will find that they are much more willing to listen to you. Two, strength. You don't have to be an in-your-face-asshole, but you do need to have enough self esteem to stand up for yourself. Little ninnies get squashed.

Unfortunatly, the internet tends to amplify fools and ninnies. This is why any sort of net based activism is doomed I think. The 'net is primarily for unfiltered information sharing. Real change in our society will take place where it has always taken place: The street. Among other things, Bill White seems to have learned this better than most of his critics.

But then you've got Hal Turner who is awesome also... So what do we do? I have no idea, but I do know this, the next leader is going to be the person that is able to bring peace out of all the crap that exists now. And since I'm pretty new, and I'm sure I know about 5% of the b.s. that has happened, I've got no powers in making any predictions...

But I do know ONE thing for sure, right NOW the time is right to strike in making our existance known. We can not be complacent, but we can not be over bearing, we must act a like a jew, a snake within the grass.
